I went to my parents' house for the holidays. Made me realize the one thing i've never had in any of the houses i've rented is a fireplace. I realized they are incredible and i really want one. it keeps you warm the way that people have kept warm for thousands of years, and introduces that awesome nature/outdoor smell into your home.
