Apparently, Portland has a segway cop patrol downtown? I haven't researched what the deal with it is, but he was watching me from 50 yards away the whole time i was fumbling to get my camera on to take a picture. He looked for sure like he was going to raise his hand and begin to object about me taking a picture, and I could see it on his face through the viewfinder- couldn't think of what to say and just decided to let it go and smile it off.
